Consistency is King

I have come to know one thing is that consistency is king. Recently I had a fear of approaching a piece of music that of French composer Paul Bonneau, Danse Des Demons. The accompaniment was different to my usual work and I just could not nail it. I made a choice to take it day by day and after a week of small interval practices, it was achieved. It was this that motivates one as a professional and seasoned pianost/accompanist that old tricks still work. The ancient consistency will always be king.
